Introductory Leadership Training

Purpose: To provide leaders with a basic introduction to the concepts of power, leadership, and tools for effective public action
Length: One or two days
Place: Local
Frequency: Two to four times yearly

Congregational Development

Purpose: To offer key religious leaders, decision-makers in their congregations, with a set of themes and tools that will equip them to evaluate their ways of operating and improve the organization of the local congregation.
Length: One or two days
Place: Local (metro Chicago)
Frequency: Twice yearly

Advanced Power Analysis and Strategic Planning

Purpose: To provide leaders with an in-depth understanding of the power dynamics in the state and region, as they apply to broader issues – environmental degradation, lack of affordable housing development, and other matters
Length: One or two days
Place: Local
Frequency: Depends on need and interest

Industrial Areas Foundation National Training

Purpose: To provide an intensive training experience to key leaders
Length: Six to Eight Days
Place: Varies
Frequency: Three times per year
Cost: Tuition waived for members; room and board and travel paid by institution – approximately $1000-1,500 per person
