We believe people working together have a great capacity to produce positive changes in communities and the country. Drawing on the potency of person-to-person organizing, our work builds relationships and prompts improvements that are only possible through organized and unified efforts.

In an increasingly polarized world, people and organizations resist talking to each other—much less building shared relationships. United Power’s mission is to train people to take responsibility for solving the problems in their own communities and to renew the interest of citizens in public life. Our strength comes from our determination and our united front.

At United Power, we use dialogue and relationship building to cultivate shared power. It’s not easy, but we do it together.

We develop leaders, training them to use collective power to create change. Our people want the world to be different, and we strategically help them to:
